The restarting of the economic engine known as small business retail began Saturday in Gaston County.
Dormant for more than a month after Gov. Roy Cooper’s executive order calling for social distancing to limit the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, most local retailers opened their cleaned and sanitized doors for the first time in a long time Saturday morning.
