Mother’s Day is celebrated all weekend at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden when moms get free admission, and there’s plenty of live music, carriage rides and family crafts to partake in. Book a picnic basket in advance, and have lunch amidst the flowers (the garden is home to some 400 different species). There will also be a food truck on hand, Italian ice will be sold, and you can even treat mom to a morning mimosa.
