Belmont is preparing for its upcoming concert and festival season by making improvements to Stowe Park in its downtown area.
The park, which stretches along Main Street and backs up to Belmont Middle School, is receiving a new playground unit, and new swings, drainage and rubber mulch in the playground area. The new playground unit will include several slides, a climbing wall and other play equipment.
