Work is scheduled to begin within 90 days on a mixed-use development in downtown Belmont that will tie the city’s textiles past with its growing reputation as a lively, affordable alternative to Charlotte.
Imperial Lofts Belmont is expected to be completed by the summer of 2021 and Eric Vargosko, managing partner of the Lenox Development Group, said the project would be a first of its kind in Gaston County. He’s developed several similar properties in Charlotte’s South End and NoDa neighborhoods and he’s excited to be doing one in his home county.
